By receiving services from our practice, you consent to the recording of consultations for the purpose of accurate note-taking and enhanced patient care. These recordings are confidential and securely stored and will only be used for medical documentation and internal review. You may opt out of recording at any time by informing your vet before the consultation.

The Cat Clinic is legally obligated to perform a 6-month medication and health review of our patients as directed and governed by the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA), and the Veterinarian Board of Tasmania. It is part of our Standard of Care that we dispense 2-months of medication at a time; and in-line with the AVA’s guidelines for prescribing, authorising, and dispensing that we “dispense a reasonable amount”, and to be able to confirm that the dosage, medication and health plan is still suitable.

Medication cannot be returned for credit or refund. Strict legislative controls are in place to regulate the manufacture and storage of medicines in the pharmacy environment. Once the medication has left the clinic, the storage conditions of the medication cannot be guaranteed, and it is possible the product could have been tampered with. Exceptions: Medication cannot be returned for credit or refund, except when it is a condition of a consumer-level recall.
